Do you offer Winter Texan/snowbird camping at your Texas camping resort?

Yes, we do! We offer a variety of long term accommodations, making our Camp-Resort one of the best extended stay campgrounds in Texas. If you’re looking for a monthly RV park in Texas that has numerous RV site types to choose from, we’ve got you covered. We also have numerous cabin types for those who don’t own an RV, but would still like to enjoy snowbird camping in Texas. You can learn more about our monthly campground here.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Cabins: Check-in 3pm, check-out 11am Campsites: Check-in 1pm, Check-out 12pm

What is your policy on firearms and weapons?

Guests must obey all federal, state, and local laws regarding the ownership and possession of firearms.

Firearms are not permitted in any property buildings or common areas.

The only exception is that guests may have a firearm in a locked, private vehicle in parking areas if permitted by law.

The discharge of firearms, BB guns, air guns/rifles, or similar devices is strictly prohibited.

Are alcoholic beverages allowed?

They are! Any alcoholic beverage must be held in an unmarked container or koozie. No glass or breakable items permitted in the Camp-Resort for safety reasons. Since we are one of the best family campgrounds in Texas, we ask that you please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language.

Can I bring my own golf cart, motorized scooter, hoverboard, or ATV to the Camp-Resort?

For safety and liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized and vehicles into Jellystone Park™. Guests found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave without refund. For your convenience, we do offer golf cart rentals that allow accessing our Texas campground easy…and fun!

Are drones allowed at the Camp-Resort?

Unfortunately, we do not allow drones.

When is the cheapest time to stay?

Our rates depend on when you’d like to stay and what amenities are available during your dates. Non-Peak season is cheaper than Peak season, and weekdays are cheaper than weekends. However, please be sure to check amenity availability before booking.

Is there good fishing?

We have great fishing in our Texas rv resort, available onsite in our stocked fishing lake!

Do you offer price matching for reservations?

No, we do not offer price matching for campground reservations. Our pricing is carefully determined to provide fair value for the amenities and services included in the price of a stay. We encourage you to explore the features of our campground, and if you have any questions about our current pricing or special offers, feel free to contact our reservation team for assistance!

Where can I find rates?

Our rates vary throughout the season and depend on which site you choose, when you want to visit, and how many people are joining you. To check rates and availability, visit our booking website.

Do you have quiet hours?

We do! Quiet hours are from 10pm – 8am. Anyone under 18 years of age must be at their site or cabin during these hours, unless accompanied by an adult.

What makes you one of the best campgrounds in Texas for families?

We’re known as one of the best family campgrounds in Texas due to the countless activities and attractions we have to offer! If you’re looking for a Texas campground with a water park and pools, you’ve come to the right place. Our Water Playground is great for kids and features various water blasters, cannons, and slides, while our spacious swimming pool is perfect for kids and adults alike! What is your cancellation policy?

We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date, please view all the details on our Rules and Policies page.

Can I arrive early and/or depart late from your Texas campground?

Early access (before check-in time) does not guarantee the site/cabin will be ready or available at time of arrival. Extended access (after check-out time) does not guarantee guests will be able to stay on site/in the cabin until departing from our Texas camping resort. Early access/extended access only guarantees access to our campground near Houston and Camp-Resort amenities, which requires parking in overflow. Access is based on availability and involves a fee based on the time of check-in – please email us for info. We absolutely cannot accommodate access prior to 11AM, so please plan your travel accordingly.

Is WiFi available?

Yes, there is park-wide WiFi, however, depending on the amount of campers in the park and the amount of guests using at the same time, WiFi may not be accessible.

What can I use my Jellystone Park™ gift card towards?

Jellystone Park™ gift cards are applicable towards reservations only. They may not be used towards day camp passes or any on-site amenities, Ranger Station items, etc. Gift cards can be purchased on this website.

Will my reservation guarantee a specific campsite or cabin assignment?

Specific campsites or cabins may be requested, but are not guaranteed. We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin by paying our applicable locking fee. If you opt out of the locking fee, you are guaranteed your selected site or cabin type, but NOT the specific unit number.

Do you offer seasonal sites?

Yes, we do. Please email info@wallerjellystonepark.com for more information.

Can I come tour the park before I book?

Yes! We just ask that you call ahead of time and check in at the Registration office before entering the park. Preferably no Friday’s or Saturday’s.

Can I swim in the lake?

The lake is not an approved swimming area.

What is good camping etiquette?

Am I able to store my trailer at your park?

We allow overflow storage. We are unable to accommodate Motorhomes and 5th Wheels.

We are looking to experience Texas glamping at its finest. What accommodations do you recommend?

Can my friends come visit?

Are campfires allowed?

You bet, unless when we are under a Burn Ban, so be sure to ask the Registration Station at check-in. We ask that campfires be confined to designated hours and are not left unattended. We do not permit outside firewood being brought into our park or the cutting of any of our trees or brush. Firewood is available for purchase at our Ranger Station.

This is my first time visiting Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Waller. Is there anything I should know?

We are so excited to have you stay with us! There are a few optional items you can bring along to maximize the fun during your trip. You are welcome to bring bicycles to help you get around our Texas camping resort. We also suggest bringing fishing poles for some quality family fishing. And keep in mind that while we do offer plenty of activities here at the Camp-Resort, there are many local attractions that your family may enjoy as well. What do I need to do to prepare for my arrival?

What forms of payment are accepted for my reservation?

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Full payment is due at the time of booking.

Do you allow inflatables in your pool and lazy river?

Inflatables and toys are NOT permitted in the pool. Tubes are available on-site for the lazy river. No outside tubes allowed.

Why isn't my discount showing when I book online?

Discounts and packages are automatically applied when booking. If you have a promo code, be sure to enter that during the booking process.

What is your pet policy?

Pets are allowed free of charge at RV sites and with an applicable fee for select pet-friendly cabins – for 1 pet, there is a flat fee of $50. For 2 pets, there is a flat fee of $75. 2 pet max per cabin/RV site.

Pets are NOT allowed at our playgrounds, restrooms, or other buildings.

Pet owners are required to bring a crate(s) for their pet(s) and are responsible for pet clean-up and noise control.

Please keep your pet on a leash and never unattended.

For the safety of our guests, pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations.

We reserve the right to remove hostile and disruptive pets from the Camp-Resort. View our pet waiver.

What amenities are included in my visit?

Our Texas campground has many attractions to enjoy, such as the jumping pillow, gem mining, sports courts, mini golf, and more! See all of our attractions here.

How far in advance should I make my reservation at your Texas campground?

We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of the desired arrival date, as our Camp-Resort will fill up quickly! We book reservations up to 360 days in advance!

How far away is your Texas campground from Houston?

Lucky for you, we offer some of the best camping near Houston, because our Camp-Resort is located less than an hour away. We also offer some of the best RV camping and cabin rentals near Houston, with 10+ accommodation types!

Are fireworks allowed?

Fireworks of any kind are not allowed in Jellystone Park™, this also includes sparklers.
